If you know you want a connector charm included and which one from the list above, please email me after booking so I can save it aside for you to avoid disappointment on the day. You can pay for this in the shop at the time of your session.

Again, I can order in anything you want but can't see listed, just email me before booking. Currently only connectors available, charms on request, email me for a list of what I can order in for you if interested. Remember, you don't have to have a connector or charm, you can wear as is.

What should I expect?

I'll welcome you into the shop - you will have a 45minute window allocated especially for this, will close the doors so there are no interruptions, making it a personable experience for you. To ensure client satisfaction and safety, we will go through a consultation form together and discuss what styles and kind of fit you would like. 

Once that's done I will then weld your piece on, using a leather patch for the safety of your skin and glasses for both of our eyes. Using a stylus style equipment piece, there will be a few lil baby sparks that will seal the “jump ring” shut to make your permanent jewellery piece forever bound. The actual process will take about 5-10mins.

Is permanent jewellery safe?

Yes it's all pretty safe when done by a professional jeweller or welder. 

The machine is a very small scale welding machine, plus we have the leather patches and protective glasses as extra measure.

Can I bring my kids with me?

To make the process more enjoyable for mums, it's probably best you leave the kids at home or bring someone to keep an eye on them for you in the shop. There's also a safety issue with an unattended child whilst we are doing through the welding process. We all know what kids are like, ask them not to look at something and they will stare directly at the glare of the weld!!

Can kids get a permanent jewellery piece done too?

At the moment, I do not offer this service to children due to them having possible allergies that the parent is not yet aware of, this applies to children under the age of 16.

Can I remove my piece?

You can if you really want to. Most of the chains are delicate and can possibly be cut off at home with very sharp scissors or small cutters. Alternatively, you can pop into LA LUNA and have me do it for you :)

How long will the bracelet last?

LA LUNA guarantees the weld on your bracelet - in the unlikely event it should break at the weld - please ensure that you hold onto your chain and I will get you booked into the next available slot to have the piece mended.

Please note, welded chains are delicate and considered as fine jewellery, meaning that care must be taken and your permanent jewellery should be treated with accordingly. A care leaflet will be provided, it is recommended that you follow and adhere to these guidelines to maintain the everlasting sparkle of your permanent jewellery piece. I completely understand that accidents do happen though, so am more than happy to fix or replace a broken chain for a fee.

Will it affect me getting through airport security?

Bracelets are airport security safe, but must be removed for MRI scans and surgical procedures. Please book your session around this to avoid disappointment. They should be fine for x-rays.

Can anyone and everyone wear permanent jewellery?

Bracelets are not suitable for anyone who has a pacemaker fitted.

If you have any skin allergies you may want to ensure you choose the correct metal accordingly so you don't have a reaction.

It is not advised to get permanent jewellery whilst pregnant due to possible swelling as your baby grows as well as increased skin sensitivity during this time.

LA LUNA will not apply permanent jewellery to anyone with a pacemaker fitted and everyone will have to sign a consultation form to state that they haven't got this or any other health issues that can be affected by the welding process, if you are unsure, please ask your doctor before booking.
